Table Reading Questions
1. I believe that Ray Bradbury started the novel like this because it summed up on who he was, a fireman, and I believe its pleasurable for him and others to burn books due to the lack of attention on reading them.
2. The books are compared to birds because they are being burned and the remains are dispersing onto the environment.
3. Clarisse sounds a little bit more educational while Montag sounds like a sad person who happens to enjoy watching things burn.
4. The technology in the novel seems a little bit more soothing since its ocean waves but still, addicting in a way since Mildred can't let go of it. As for the technology we have nowadays, it seems a bit more downgrading and still, addicting..more addicting actually. I don't think it makes much of a difference in their lives though.
