The Earth on Turtle's Back Theme and Tone

I feel like the theme of this short story is sacrifice. I think the tone of the author is creative and he isn't trying to get to the point. He is giving us words that we can enjoy before we get to the Climax or even the end of the story.

F451 Essay

Fahrenheit 451 is hands down one of the most interesting books I have ever read. What makes this book interesting is how every little scene is actually very big to the story. For this same reason is why we can interpretate a lot of themes into this book. One of many themes is self-determination. We can see self-determination with Montag. Montag drastically changes throughout the story after meeting Clarisse. Before meeting Clarisse, Montag was a regular pedestrian. Well not so regular because he was a firefighter, but to himself, Montag was just a married book burner. After meeting Clarisse, Montag decided to change his life. He wanted to show the world he can be whoever he wants. He wanted to bring back books because that was what he enjoyed.
