The Story of an Hour

1. The thing that made me be interested in reading this story was that it is feminist literature.
2. A lady has heart trouble and has to be told carefully about her husband's death. Her sister tells her and she ends up getting a heart attack.
3. The theme of the story can be freedom.
4. After reading it, I honestly thought it was boring. I was falling asleep while reading it.
5. No, I would not recommend this story because I just didn't find the spark that I was looking for and I don't think anybody will.

F451 Essay

Fahrenheit 451 is hands down one of the most interesting books I have ever read. What makes this book interesting is how every little scene is actually very big to the story. For this same reason is why we can interpretate a lot of themes into this book. One of many themes is self-determination. We can see self-determination with Montag. Montag drastically changes throughout the story after meeting Clarisse. Before meeting Clarisse, Montag was a regular pedestrian. Well not so regular because he was a firefighter, but to himself, Montag was just a married book burner. After meeting Clarisse, Montag decided to change his life. He wanted to show the world he can be whoever he wants. He wanted to bring back books because that was what he enjoyed.
