1. I believe that Ray Bradbury started the novel like this because it summed up on who he was, a fireman, and I believe its pleasurable for him and others to burn books due to the lack of attention on reading them. 2. The books are compared to birds because they are being burned and the remains are dispersing onto the environment. 3. Clarisse sounds a little bit more educational while Montag sounds like a sad person who happens to enjoy watching things burn. 4.
